About the Club
GP STORM TRACK & FIELD CLUB strives to provide our student-athletes the opportunity to develop their speed, strength, self-esteem, and compete at a high level on and off the track. Our coaching staff understands the fundamentals of training and competing in track & field while also developing sound athletes of sound character. We compete in multiple circuit meets sanctioned by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and USA Track Field (USATF) around the DFW region.

2023 Summer Track Season

Training Location: YMLA Middle School-2205 SE 4th St, Grand Prairie, TX 75051

Training Dates: March 20 - August 4th

Training Days: Mon, Tue, Thurs (6:15 pm- 8:00 pm) subject to change

Ages: 7-18, *ages 13+ are accepted on a case-by-case basis (based on athletic ability, goals, and leadership).

Track Meets: Athletes will compete in multiple highly competitive circuit meets around the DFW region sanctioned by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and USA Track & Field.

Grand Prairie Storm will compete in the AAU qualifiers meet starting early June and Junior Olympics held in Des Moines, IA (Drake Stadium) late July- early August.
Registration Fees Breakdown:
For the 2023 summer track season, registration fees will be accepted from Jan 16th - March 20th. Please know that the registration fee is non-refundable.

We Strive To:
Provide a proper and safe sports environment for our youth.
Enhance the emotional, physical, social, and educational well-being of our youth.
Appoint, evaluate, educate and support the managers and coaches who will instruct our participants, keeping in mind the best interests of our children.
Assure basic levels of knowledge and instruction are introduced at each level of play.
Encourage parents to take an active role in the youth sports experience of their child and our association.
Adequately communicate to our members, all policies and rules and any changes in policies and rules, activities, events, and any other pertinent information in a timely manner.
